Bio

So much more than a figurehead, Tony is the embodiment of Axis Insurance. As its President, founder and majority shareholder, his entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit have led the company to strong growth and a firm financial footing. By creating a unique partner-based business model, Tony has fostered a sense of camaraderie, mutual support and levels of customer service which are without parallel in the insurance business. As the head of the company, he has to spend a lot of his time on administration, PR, staff matters, coaching and mentoring. But does that means he's “hands off”? Certainly not. He speaks to clients and insurers every day and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all classes of insurance and risk management techniques. And when not leading from the front at Axis, Tony’s happiest when he’s on a golf course or skiing the back country at Whistler.
